Divahn released their new album, Shalhevet, in March 2020. It contains original interpretations of traditional Sephardi/Mizrahi Jewish songs that blend lush string arrangements, eclectic Indian, Middle Eastern, and Latin percussion, and vocals spanning Hebrew, Persian, and Arabic. The album release took place at Joe's Pub in NYC on March 7, 2020 - right before the world shut down. Divahn kicked off their long-awaited album tour with shows in Westchester and Connecticut this past summer, and are excited to celebrate the album in Brooklyn!

Join Dr. Dardashti and her bold, all-woman Mizrahi/Sephardi ensemble, Divahn, in concert. Divahn plays Middle Eastern grooves, infusing traditional and original Jewish songs with sophisticated harmonies and entrancing improvisations.
